Jardin FAE

Sound design for the garden of the Alain Ellouz Foundation was created for the foundation’s launch evening. The project takes the form of an immersive audio composition structured around five distinct sound elements, each spatialized in 5.1 surround sound and associated with a specific artwork installed in the garden.

Each sonic layer draws inspiration from the physical elements present in the corresponding piece—water, stone, light, and wind—translating material qualities into sound textures. These elements were composed using a shared musical scale, allowing the different sound sources to coexist within a unified and coherent harmonic framework, gently enveloping the space.

Although the composition unfolds in a continuous loop, subtle variations in the duration of each element create constantly shifting harmonic relationships. This evolving structure ensures that the soundscape remains in perpetual transformation, offering an experience that is both stable and dynamic, anchored in place yet always in motion.
