As part of Nuits de Lumière in Vincennes, HAASKR created a historical video mapping projected onto the façade of the Château de Vincennes' Pavillon du Roi. Structured around eight tableaux, the work explores the many layers of the château's history, tracing its evolution from a royal residence to a major site of political, military and historical significance.

Through key moments spanning several centuries, the mapping revisits the reign of Saint Louis, the reign of Charles V, the Fronde and the imprisonment of the Princes, before exploring the château's military history and its role during the First and Second World Wars.

Combining historical research, archival material, visual storytelling and architectural projection, the work brings the building's past to life, revealing the events and memories embedded within its architecture.
